
Client Relations Manager
Purpose of the Job
The Client Relations Manager’s duty is to bring about the BARK Vision by cultivating strong relationships between BARK and our clients and community. These relationships are at the core of our Vision, and the Client Relations team is responsible for hosting the clients that come into our facility.
What You Will Be Doing
The most important responsibility is relationship building. Team development is a close second. The Manager will monitor client relations performance to ensure we are offering the highest quality of service and creating real value for our clients and stakeholders.
Expectations and Duties
- Customer Service
- Develop strong relationships between BARK and our Clients
- Work relentlessly to perfect the client experience
- Prioritize communication with clients and resolve conflicts
- Team Development
- Hire exceptional team members committed to bringing about the Vision
- Develop and execute training plan
- Communicate and promote BARK culture and values to team members
- Conduct coaching, follow-ups, corrective actions, and separations
- Best Practices
- Establish or update policies to improve quality of service and value provided
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve system breakdowns
- Brainstorm ways to improve the value of the BARK brand
- Other Duties as Assigned

Desired Experience and Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in business or related field desired
- 2+ years’ management experience in a pet facility or pet care environment
- Excellent work history and references
Requirements
- Must be able to complete all work in a safe manner, including operating equipment.
- Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes without being afraid of them.
- Maintain a respectful and courteous attitude toward clients and teammates in all situations.
- Our guests require care 365 days; weekend and holiday work are assigned on rotating basis.
- Must be able to squat, stoop, bend, lift 40 pounds, and do a lot of walking.
- Must be able to react quickly to auditory signals from teammates, animals, or equipment.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance while at work, according to the dress policy.
- Read, write legibly, and communicate clearly in English with professionalism and tact.
- Ability to type on a keyboard, use a mouse, and view information on a computer screen.
- Able to grasp, hold, and manipulate objects varying from small to large with both hands.

Compensation
Base Pay Rate: $17/hour
